Many people went camping as children with their parents or grandparents and they made lots of wonderful memories of those trips. Now that you are grown it's time to take your kids camping and make your own memories. You and your family will have these memories for many years to come. Your children can even share the camp stories with their children.
Before going camping you need to have a check list so you do not leave anything behind. You should put everything you need to travel in the drinks list as sleeping bags, fishing rods, tents, flashlights, first aid kids, insect repellent, food, and a lantern battery for each tent.
They just want your menu too. Hot dogs are always good, because we cook on the fire. You can also soups and stews, it is cooked on the fire as well.
Make smores Pack everything you need to produce, because you are not a camptrip with out smores. When choosing a destination for your trip try to find a place that has showers and toilets. It is much more sanitary but it is also safer than having your children go into the woods to use the bathroom.
Speaking of woods, it is also a good idea to show your children what poison oak and poison ivy look like so that they can stay away from it. It is important that you camp at a local camp ground and not out in the wilderness. If you camp in the wilderness you will have to worry about bears or other big animals.
Large animals and bears usually stay away from camp sites because of the constant people coming in and out. So the safest place to camp is a camp popular camp site.
